(Hong Kong, 18 February 2022) - Xinyi Solar Holdings Limited ("Xinyi Solar" or the "Group") (Stock Code: 00968), the world’s largest solar glass manufacturer, has been listed on the 2022 Carbon Clean 200? list (the “List”). The List, jointly released by the US non-profit organisation promoting environmental and socially responsible investment As You Sow and renowned Canadian media and investment research company Corporate Knights, comprises 200 publicly traded companies worldwide that are leading the way to a clean energy future. The inclusion is proof of Xinyi Solar gaining international recognition for its efforts in promoting clean energy.

The “Carbon Clean 200?” statistics rest mainly on the latest data in Corporate Knights’ Clean Revenue database. The selected companies are ranked according to their green revenues (in USD) earned from clean economy themes, including energy efficiency, green energy, electric vehicles, in the latest fiscal year. In 2022, 16 mainland Chinese companies, from mainly the photovoltaic, wind power, new energy vehicle and power industries, made the list. Companies from other parts of the world in the List included Apple, Alphabet, Intel and TSMC.
